Katie Elliot-Stoyles - Emerging Artist Feb 28 - May 1, 2026

Featured during our Rocks, Streams, and Dreams show from Feb 28 - May 1, 2026, Katie Elliot-Stoyles is an artist with over 10 years experience working in acrylic, watercolour and oil.

Katie was born in Wales, UK and currently lives in Guelph. She enjoys painting portraits and animal portraits as well as landscapes.

Katie studied at Newmarket School of Fine arts as well as with Judy Sherman, Grazyna Adamska-Jarecka and is currently attending Elina Bakopoulos Artworks & Atelier in Guelph.

Guided by a passion for the creative process and a desire to continually grow as an artist, she explores the expressive possibilities of colour, texture and movement.

Katie was awarded first place at a curated show here in Guelph GWSA Juried Art Show 2025.

From Katie:

“I paint landscapes to capture the quiet exchanges between light, atmosphere, and place. Working in oil, acrylic, and watercolor allows me to shift between precision and spontaneity, responding to each scene’s unique mood. My paintings are an attempt to hold onto fleeting moments—changing skies, shifting horizons, and the subtle textures of the natural world. Through my work, I invite viewers to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the landscapes that shape our sense of belonging.”
